The 60th Anniversary STANBRIDGE'S Ute

On the 14th November 1948 Jack Stanbridge wrote his first order for stock for his new Hobby Shop. Jack always regarded this as the day he started in the Hobby Industry. In those days he was in Victoria Park but eventually moved to Mt Lawley in the 1960s.

The years after World War II saw numerous businesses start up. One of those was Holden which launched the now famous 48-215 (also known as FX) also in November 1948. STANBRIDGE'S in conjunction with TRAX MODELS decided to produce a 1/43 scale diecast model to commemorate this milestone.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of "The 60th Anniversary STANBRIDGE'S Ute". TRAX MODELS produced a STANBRIDGE'S Van some 20 years ago and it was their rarest model. Only 288 were made. 144 were sold through the shop. The 60th Anniversary STANBRIDGE'S Ute is limited to 3500 and 504 will be available through the shop. Those sold from the shop will include a numbered certificate signed by the current owners of the shop.

The model will be available for sale on our 60th birthday - Friday 14th November 2008 for $39.95. Orders can be made by contacting the shop.
