To get started in Model Rocketry you will require a Starter set.
A Starter set includes at least one rocket, a launch pad and controller. The controller will require batteries - always use alkaline batteries. The rocket will require a rocket engine. The rocket, launch pad and controller can be used over and over again. The rocket engines are a single use item.

Rocket engines come with ignitors and a plug to hold the ignitor in the engine when the rocket is sitting on the launch pad.

Engines by Estes and Quest, which fit 99% of the rockets we sell, can only be sold to persons over the age of 18. Persons under this age must be accompanied by an adult.

Aerotech High Power Engines will require a permit from the Mines and Explosives Department. You will need to contact the shop for details - ask for Kevin.

Delivery of Model Rocket Engines can be arranged throughout Mainland Australia. Most Rocket Engines must go only by road and will be shipped by Toll Ipec. They can only be delivered to a business address. Toll Ipec will NOT deliver dangerous goods to a residential address. For further details please contact the shop.

A,B and C size engines may be posted - by road only - to WA, NT, QLD, NSW and VIC. At this stage we cannot deliver Model Rocket Engines to Tasmania. The postage calculator only calculates postage rates. If items are to be delivered to SA then they must go by courier so please contact the shop for a quote on the courier fee.
